Many of you are asking details about staying in Africa over the Christmas break. Here are some of them:
1. You will be housed in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa at our FYM house.
2. We can take up to 15 and it will be on a first come, first served basis.
3. You will need to secure your ticket to fly to Pt. Elizabeth from Johannesburg on Dec. 15. You will also be responsible to fly back to either Johannesburg or Nairobi, Kenya on Jan. 15, depending on where you will be in January.
4. One of our staff couple (Tag and Holly Thompson) will be there for the most part.
5. If you stay in South Africa during that time you will need to get a visa extension, which costs about $65. You can only stay in SA for 3 months without an extension. It will all depend on when you were last out of SA, we will be going into Swaziland during the Awakening.
6. The cost to stay there will be about $250, which will include food and housing. Any travel you do will be out of your pocket.
I hope this answers some of your questions. Last year we had about 10 stay and things went well, but most went home or made other arrangements. The break is needed and helps you be fresh for the second part. I don't need to know right away unless you're positive you will be staying in Jeffreys Bay. I will let you know if the house starts to fill up. Some last year who thought they were going to stay ended up doing something else. You never know what God might ask you to do during that time.
