"Do I really need all the shots listed in the Handbook on page 37?"

ANSWER:  AIM recommendations are based upon the Center for Desease Control.  We do not require any shots for anyone but strongly recommend them.  It is a good idea to check with your doctor and see what he/she recommends.  We also suggest that it be a travel doctor.

QUESTION:
"Do I really need to get a rabies shot to go to Mexico?"

ANSWER:  The colonies that you will live in and work in has rabid dogs that run around wild.  The decision is totally up to you.  We have recommended that you do but again check with your doctor for further direction.

QUESTION:
"Do I really need Yellow Fever for Africa?"

ANSWER:  To get into Kenya you need to show your Yellow Fever Certificate.  All of our other Africa locations it is not neccessary.  However, you do not know whether you are going to Kenya and will not know until end of October beginning of November.
