Hey Kenya FYM's - here is a blog from an AIM staffer who formerly lived in Kenya, Kayla Phillips.  Also check out the "last 500 blogs" on AIM's website - there is a lot of info out there about Kenya.

This blog is a good guideline for prayer:

The million man protest march in Kenya will begin Thursday AM sometime between
6am and 9am in Nairobi, Kenya.  The past 5 days of violence has led up to this
pivotal day in Kenya and noone really knows how it will go.  The common opinion
among our Kenyan friends is "there will be war Thursday."

This is our
mandate to rise up and intercede for our brothers and sisters in Kenya.  We're
trying to get the word out so that we can all be praying in agreement at the
same time for peace in Kenya tonight.  The time this rally will be beginning
will be anywhere from 9pm-midnight tonight (Wednesday) here in TX.  Please join
us in specific prayer for this rally to be peaceful.  Among the other prayer
needs, we're going to be focusing on the peace of this rally during this time
period tonight.

There are many many other prayer requests involving the
wellbeing of our friends there.  To see those, visit my website:  http://kaylaphillips.myadventures.org

Specific
prayer focus for Wednesday evening 9pm-midnight

- pray for the
"declaration of war" issued by Raila, the leader of the opposition party, to be
taken back
- pray for the safety of those going to protest; a desperate
people willing to die fighting
- pray for wisdom for the government officials
and police commanders in how to handle this war
- pray for signs and miracles
to take place to supernaturally stop the killings
- pray Psalms 17 and 18
over this desperate situation

Many have emailed me and asked about the
best way to stay updated on this as it unfolds.  As far as the media, I've found
that those with the most coverage at this point are:
www.bbc.co.uk
www.cnn.com
Also, continually check my website
http://kaylaphillips.myadventures.org
for updates as I speak with those in Kenya.  Also, check there for specific
prayer request regarding those we know and love in Kenya.

Thank you for
your prayers!
Kayla
